Wine, Laughter and Lasting Memories - Leeanne's Hunter Valley Hens Celebration at Tulloch and Saddler's Creek

Hey again, it's [Your Name]! I'm back with another amazing hens party experience, and this time, we're heading to the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Leeanne's pre-wedding celebrations and it was a day filled with sunshine, stunning vineyards and, of course, plenty of delicious wine.

 

For those just joining me, I'm a Newcastle-based photographer specialising in weddings and all the exciting events leading up to the big day. I'm passionate about capturing the genuine joy and connection between friends and family, and I love working with brides and their crews throughout the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and surrounding areas.

 

Leeanne's hens party was a perfectly planned itinerary showcasing some of the best the Hunter Valley has to offer. We started the day at the iconic Tulloch Wines, where the rolling hills and elegant tasting room provided the perfect backdrop for some sophisticated (and some not-so-sophisticated!) photos. The ladies enjoyed a private tasting, and I was there to capture every sip, every laugh, and every heartfelt toast.

 

From Tulloch, we moved on to Saddler's Creek Wines, another gem in the Hunter Valley crown. Saddler's Creek has a more rustic, laid-back vibe, which perfectly suited the afternoon's activities. There were lawn games, delicious food platters, and, of course, more exceptional wine. The relaxed atmosphere allowed for some fantastic candid shots, capturing the genuine fun and camaraderie of the group.

 

What struck me most about Leeanne's hens was the incredible bond between these women. It was clear that they were all genuinely thrilled to be celebrating their friend, and the energy was infectious. My goal as a photographer is always to blend into the background, to become almost invisible, so I can capture those authentic moments without interrupting the flow of the day. At both Tulloch Wines and Saddler's Creek Wines, the beautiful settings and relaxed atmosphere made my job easy!

 

The Hunter Valley truly is a magical place for a hens party. The combination of stunning scenery, world-class wineries, and delicious food creates the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. And as a photographer, it's a dream location! The natural light, the vibrant colours, and the happy faces make for some truly beautiful images.
