Hickson Street Lookout is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Newcastle, offering panoramic views of the coastline and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. The lookout's rugged cliffs and lush greenery create a dramatic yet romantic setting, perfect for capturing those intimate moments. And just a stone's throw away, a secluded beach awaits, accessible by a set of stairs, adding another layer of charm to this already picturesque location.

 

The Sunrise Surprise

 

We arrived at the lookout just before sunrise, hoping to capture the sky ablaze with vibrant colors by the time we got down to the beach. While the clouds may have playfully obscured the sun's grand entrance and we had to wait a bit, they couldn't hide the warm, golden hue that peeked through, casting a soft, romantic glow over Olivia and Will. It was a reminder that even when things don't go exactly as planned, beauty can still be found in the unexpected.
